Jamie Sharples launched his financial planning practice in 1997 after graduating from Texas Christian University. In 2008 he and his family relocated from Dallas-Fort Worth to Houston. Jamie has committed to lifelong education, expanding his knowledge and expertise in estate, investment, business and overall financial planning processes by earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Certified Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations.

Among many things, Jamie is a family-focused man with a heart for the Houston community. No matter how busy his schedule can get, he always makes time to stay actively involved with his family. He and his beautiful wife, Andrea stay busy with their five children; Robin, twin boys, Andrew and Jarrett, Rylan and Weston. He runs from Robin’s piano recitals to coaching the kids’ sports teams, and still finds time to get away to Pine Cove family camp with the whole crew.

An avid sports fan, Jamie loves cheering on his TCU Horned Frogs, often travelling with his kids to Fort Worth for a home game with Dad. Jamie, Andrea and their children are committed to the Houston community. They share a passion for the people and heart for the city through their engagement with several local non-profits, including the church they call home, Houston’s First Baptist Church, where Jamie serves as part of the finance committee.
